ABODE staff, volunteers and board members gathered with Scout & Cellar wine consultant Judy Tierney late yesterday afternoon via Zoom for our first Virtual Wine Tasting! Such a nice way to “see” and visit with one another, learn about and taste Scout & Cellar wines and compare notes on our favorites. (Big thumbs up for the 2017 Middle Jane Zinfandel!)

Pictured below right you’ll see Frankie Boone, Susan Moreno, Roxanna and Robert Soza, Lisa Kerpoe and Steve Ortman, Susan Getter, Petra McCann and her sister Boni, John Vinson and me. You may recall the process: Judy prepared the 5 wine samples in plastic cups with lids, put them in cute bags and then participants came to ABODE to pick them up. A bit later in the day, we gathered via Zoom and Judy guided us through each sip.
