We joined the family of Fred, 88, as he left us, having spent just a handful of days at ABODE. Fred was an Army vet and a professional polo player. His father and brothers were also professional polo players – one brother, in fact, was the model for the Polo cologne logo.

Fred’s three daughters surrounded his bed, holding his hands, when he took his last breath.
