Death Cafe
Wine Tasting
DeathCafe
Death Cafe is a discussion group – we welcome free-form conversation about death, whatever that means to the people in the room. There are no agendas, objectives or themes – and we are not a grief support group or educational meeting. Nothing will be sold, taught or recruited for.

We simply gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. Ours is one of 14,000 Death Cafes in 81 countries.

Please RSVP if you’d like to attend – we’d love to have you!

Please arrive on time. Parking for ABODE is in the MacArthur Park Church of Christ parking lot at the corner of Post Oak Lane and the 410 access road. Then it’s a very short walk up a slight hill to the home, which will be on your left. There is some parking at the home itself, and use it if you need it, but try to leave as much space as possible for the caregivers and family members who will be arriving to visit ABODE’s Guests. Our entire home is wheelchair accessible.

Our Living Room will hold about 15 of us comfortably. If the weather is mild, and the group is large, we may sit outside in our home’s beautiful, private backyard.
