Death Cafe

Death Cafe

Death Cafe is a discussion group – we welcome free-form conversation about death, whatever that means to the people in the room. There are no agendas, objectives or themes – and we are not a grief support group or educational meeting. Nothing is sold, taught or recruited for.

We simply gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their lives.

Monday Meditation

Monday Meditation

An ABODE tradition! Our meditation format includes a brief reading chosen by the week’s facilitator to prepare us for 30 minutes of silent meditation. It could be a poem, a Scripture from any tradition or a reflection on a topic that opens us to deeper contemplation of awareness and love. After meditation, we follow with a conversation based on the reading or meditation. RSVP by sending an email to Edwin Sasek.

Monday Meditation is 5-6 pm, Mondays, hosted on Zoom.
